In my professional life, a lot of energy is placed on planning for transitions or assisting clients with the changes that they did not plan for.  That is why I find working with This Point Forward so meaningful.  In realms far beyond financial, the organization is helping make transitions easier with actionable advice and practical ideas.

January 2021

Looking Forward in 2021

The first session, titled “Looking Forward in 2021”  will be on January 26. You may be feeling unsure about opportunities to pursue with all the challenges still facing us in 2021 – pandemic, economic uncertainty to name just two.  This panel, led by Bill Gray and Tony Trenkle will explore reframing this time as an exciting new chapter of your life.  Why should you attend this session?  According to This Point Forward Board President and panelist Bill Gray, “We face many challenges in 2021 as we enter this next phase of life through retirement or other life changes.  In this webinar, Looking Forward in 2021, the panel will look at these challenges, offer solutions and introduce the audience to upcoming workshops where we can explore these solutions in greater depth.”

Looking to make a switch by making the best of what you have to offer?  Explore your “Dependable Strengths” in this February 9 interactive session with Master Instructor Anne Scholl-Fiedler.  What shows up for you again and again in your best past experiences?  Come away with a clearer picture of your story – your unique strengths, experience, knowledge, and interest intersect effortlessly.

Communication Tools for the Tech Era

Then, on February 23, we’ll be offering “Communication Tools for the Tech Era.”  Meeting and doing business online is an essential life skill in 2021.  This session, taught by Bob Martin and Rev. Brian Akers, will give you tools and confidence to navigate this new frontier in connecting with others.  This workshop is for you if you want to, in the words of panelist and Bob Martin, MA, “better understand the nuances of communicating and gathering in a virtual world.”
