Navigating Transitions

Loading Events

It is well known that personal changes can be a challenge.  Research shows that the actual change we experience is the easy part.  One day you’re working, the next day you’re not.  One day you’re single, the next day you have a spouse.  So it turns out the real challenge is actually the emotional experience we go through related to the actual change.

In this interactive workshop we will introduce the three phases involved in the transition as well as some tips to make the most of those phases.

This workshop will be led by Bob Martin, M.A. in Behavioral Science, B.S. in Engineering.  Bob had a long career as a leader in telecommunications technology before beginning his encore career by starting his own consulting and coaching business specializing in leadership development, strategic planning, and team building.

Bob has been active in his community for many years.  Among his many activities, he helped his wife and daughter start Girls on the Run, served on the board of the Association of Community Services, and is currently a board member of This Point Forward.
